I Minsk a bheidh comórtas amhránaíochta an Junior Eurovision i mbliana an 25 Samhain agus tá TG4 sa tóir ar amhránaí a sheasfaidh an fód d’Éirinn ann.

This year the Junior Eurovision Song Competition will be held in Minsk on the 25th of November and TG4 are searching for the singer who will represent Ireland at the competition.

Tar éis éisteachtaí ar fud na tíre – tá 32 de na hamhránaithe is fearr idir 9-14 roghnaithe chun dul ar aghaidh chuig an gcomórtas ar TG4.

Casfaidh na hamhránaithe seo a n-amhrán Gaeilge nuachumtha sa chomórtas chun áit a bhaint amach ar stáitse mór na hEorpa.  

Anuraidh, chan Muireann McDonnell thar ceann na hÉireann sa tSeoirsia, agus chuir sí chuile dhuine faoi gheasa lena guth agus a hamhrán Súile Glasa.    

Cé a rachaidh ar aghaidh d’Éirinn i mbliana agus a chanfaidh os comhair na milliún ag an Junior Eurovision 2018? Beidh comórtas dian ag tosú ar TG4 an 14 Deireadh Fómhair agus muid ar thóir an bhuaiteora sin.

Beidh Eoghan McDermott linn mar láithreoir arís i mbliana agus beidh na moltóirí  ag lorg ní amháin an guth ach an t-amhrán is fearr chun dul ar aghaidh agus ionadaíocht a dhéanamh thar ceann na hÉireann ag an gcomórtas amhránaíochta Junior Eurovision i Minsk an 25 Samhain.

After extensive auditions nationwide, the top 32 singers, aged 9-14 years, have been chosen to go forward to the televised heats.  

Over 5 weeks these elite 32 singers will battle it out for the honour of being the Irish entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018.  

Last year Muireann Mc Donnell represented Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Georgia and put everyone under her spell with her voice and song Súile Glasa.

Who will win this year and get the chance to represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018? The search begins on TG4 on the 14th of October.

Eoghan Mc Dermott returns to present the programme as the judges search for not just the voice but the song who will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk on the 25th of November.
